R. Clinton Beeland
President and CEO
The founder of CJB Industries, Clinton began his career in the chemical industry while still a student at Georgia Institute of Technology. After completing his bachelor of science degree in chemical engineering in 1990, he began moving up the ranks of management positions at several chemical manufacturing companies, including National Starch and Chemical, where he was a plant manager, and Griffin LLC, where he was a contract sales executive. Since launching CJB Industries in 1997, Clinton has consistently grown the company through expansions and acquisitions, building it into one of the most-respected chemical services companies in its market space. An active member of professional organizations and in his community, he belongs to SOCMA, Chemical and Specialties Management Council, the Georgia Tech Alumni Association, Georgia Tech Lean Consortium Group, South Georgia Employer Committee, Workforce Investment Board, Georgia Tech MEP, Leadership Georgia, Leadership Lowndes, Vistage, Georgia Work Ready, Valdosta/Lowndes Chamber of Commerce, and Toastmasters.
Plant Manager – Gil Harbin
Mike joined CJB Industries in October 2009 and led the company’s Gil Harbin start-up. With more than 25 years of experience in the chemical industry, he previously worked for Arizona Chemical, Union Camp and Monsanto. Mike holds a bachelor of science degree in chemical engineering from the University of Michigan.
Technical Manager, CJB Applied Technologies
Jimmy comes to CJB with over 35 years of experience in the chemical industry. With DuPont and Griffin Corporation, he held positions in continuous improvement, lean manufacturing, regulatory affairs, new product development, and quality control management. Jimmy graduated Valdosta State University with a bachelors of Science in Biology.
Chuck’s 35-year career spans business development, marketing and sales experience in 14 market areas within the chemical industry. Before joining CJB in 2006, he worked for FAR Chemical, WM Barr, SCM Specialty, and SCM Organic Chemicals. Chuck holds a bachelor of science degree in management from Jacksonville University.
Manager of Market Development
Ron joined CJB Industries with more than 25 years in the chemical industry. His experience covers sales, marketing, and strategic planning in multiple markets. His career began with Buckman Laboratories selling biocides to the paper and leather industries. He then joined BASF in 1990 as a technical advisor to paper mills and later moved into product management, marketing, and strategy. Ron holds a bachelor of arts degree in chemistry from Indiana University and an executive master’s of business administration from Wake Forest University.
Mike Harris, Ph.D.
Product and Formulations Manager
Mike’s 40-plus years of professional experience in academia and industry encompasses teaching, research, organic chemistry, analytical chemistry, product development, quality control, process development, Good Laboratory Practice (GLP), and the Federal Insecticide, Fungicide and Rodenticide Act (FIFRA). He has taught at the University of Texas at Arlington, and worked at National Chemsearch Corporation and Griffin LLC before joining CJB. He holds a bachelor of science degree in chemistry from Stephen F. Austin State University and a doctorate in chemistry from Texas Christian University.
Executive Vice President – Human Resources
Jeana has been with CJB Industries since 1999, when she started working part-time with accounting and human resources. As CJB has grown, so has her role. She has assisted with plant management, scheduling, inventory, and shipping and receiving, and she currently focuses on human resources. Prior to CJB, she worked for Levi Strauss as an industrial engineer and assistant plant manager. Her community service commitments include the City of Valdosta Board of Education, Wiregrass Foundation Board, and Christ Episcopal Finance Committee. Jeana holds a bachelor of science degree in industrial engineering from Georgia Tech and a master’s of business administration from Valdosta State University.
Health, Safety and Environmental Specialist
Sedra found her career calling while serving in the U.S. Air Force as a generator mechanic and being placed in charge of safety for a 500-person squadron. She served in the Air Force for 10 years in Hampton Roads, Virginia, and Las Vegas, Nevada. After leaving the military, she worked as a safety officer for a Las Vegas electrical contractor on multiple casino/resort construction projects until 2009. She also worked as a safety specialist for the State of Nevada Occupational Safety and Health Administration before joining CJB Industries in 2011. Sedra holds a bachelor of science degree in occupational health and safety from Columbia Southern University.
Chief Financial Officer
Randall has more than 15 years of experience in accounting and finance, having worked at Ernst & Young LLP, Acuity Specialty Products, Gypsum Management & Supply, and Capitol Building Supply, Inc. He holds a master’s degree in professional accounting from the University of Texas at Austin and bachelor’s of accountancy from the University of Mississippi. He is a member of Vistage and serves on the board of directors for Park Avenue United Methodist Church Preschool.
